ACC R&D Center Laboratory
ACC R&D center’s laboratory specializes in product design and development services for the food industry. Capable of providing one-stop support throughout the entire product development process, from product conception and pilot testing to pilot testing and rapid production, the Fonterra ACC Shanghai Innovation Center was established through a collaboration between Fonterra and ACC Quality Inspection Company. As part of Fonterra’s global network of R&D centers, the Innovation Center provides an innovative platform for everything from product research to accelerated new product development. During a trial run, Fonterra and ACC Shanghai Innovation Center developed and launched a China-exclusive “Salted Egg Yolk Cheese Ice Cream” using imported New Zealand soft serve ice cream in just five months, which was well received by customers and consumers.
Full case development process
ACC’s R&D laboratory equipment is sourced from renowned manufacturers. We possess two sets of UHT equipment, equipped with ultra-high temperature sterilization equipment. Flexible online and offline homogenization is available, along with precision scales for particle size adjustment, pH, and viscosity, and various mixing, dispersing, and emulsification capabilities. We also have comprehensive equipment and standardized processes in our conventional product and dairy product laboratories. These laboratories can simulate factory sterilization conditions, enabling a seamless transition from lab samples to full-scale production.
